If you haven’t already checked my YouTube channel, I uploaded a full playthrough of an unreleased Call of Duty game (“Call of Duty: Future Warfare”). It’s also known by its codename, NX1.
This prototype was developed by Neversoft, a now-division of Activision. It is mostly playable. Some missions are incomplete and work mostly, but then crash at some point. Some don’t even work at all due to scripting errors.
This prototype was the ancestor to both Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, it’s using a lot of Modern Warfare 2 files since it was built directly on top of it.
The video below shows the prototype with no voice over commentary. I have added subtitles to explain a few things and some observations, but most of it was recorded directly from the Xenia emulator.

Can I play this myself?
Yes. The game is available for download from the Internet Archive. You’ll need Xenia Canary, a settings file modification to unprotect zero page writes and the game dump.
Honestly, this prototype was pretty cool.
