So I woke up to the news that there’s a group of people going around trying to break into not only the GitHub accounts of the Mirror Developers. They are also trying to reset passwords in a bid to compromise the developers and cause some serious damage to the reputation of the Mirror Networking stack.
There are some suspects but I won’t name them as that would be dropping down to their level. In addition, I don’t want to have to deal with a constant tidal wave of shit.
I have not currently been compromised, but I have upped my security and will definitely take measures to ensure these bastards stay away from causing harm.
I strongly encourage any developer using GitHub, BitBucket and other related services to enable 2FA (Two Factor Auth) for that extra layer of security. But as I said earlier, this shit needs to stop.
